Directions
6 servings
For the Onion Rings
- Preheat air fryer to 380 (if necessary on your model).
- Cut onion into thick ½” rings, peel off the skin, and set aside.
- Crack 2 eggs in a bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined.
- Pour a ½ pack of Whisps Buffalo Cheese Crumbs in another bowl.
- Separate each onion ring and submerge them, one by one, in the egg mixture, then coat in the Whisp Buffalo Cheese Crumbs - trying to keep them as dry as possible as they stick better this way. If they’re having a hard time with the batter sticking, try using more of the dried cheese crumb mixture.
- As you dredge each one, you’ll want to pour more of the dried cheese crumbs as needed for each sequential onion ring - using up to two packs for one large onion ring.
- Depending on the size of your air fryer basket, place your onion rings in the basket, leaving about a ½” between each one and spritz with a light mist of olive oil spray.
- Air Fry each batch at 380 for 10-15 minutes, checking every 5 minutes or so, or until they’re golden brown.
- Continue cooking in batches until all of the onion rings are cooked.
For the Ranch Dressing
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir until combined. Season with salt and pepper as needed. Set aside.
